Consistently Grow Your Community

Recently I see many successful youtubers consistently creating videos on their YouTube Channels. Professional bloggers are updating the blogs. Motivators/Coaches are recording Podcasts. Trainers are conducting Webinars, tweeting the latest news and tips, and updating their current status of their businesses and activities. Most of them achieve powerful results and managed to create the influence on certain crowd of people and leading them to be their followers. I assume that this is the current norm of creating your own targeted market for your products or services.

By sharing information or knowledge on certain niche area of your products or services will able to attract and influence the crowd or community that are interested in your products or services. When we have successfully created the targeted crowd that are interested in the information that resembles to our services or products, then our community will grow from there. What we need to do, is work though the people we have, or the people who believe us (work through your community).

To create the community, it is not how talented you are, or how many opportunities you have. The key of success is to be consistent, and to consistently “working on” the people (community) that we have and “working through” the people (community) that we have.

The hallmark of excellence, the test of greatness, is consistency.” – Jim Tressel.

The creation of this “community” requires Consistency. In the beginning of your journey, your followers will expect to have constant updates from you. For example, if you have subscribed to a magazine, or a new youtuber, you will expect new things to come from them weekly and you will expect to see constant update from them. If your update stops, you will lose credibility and your community will start to fade away. Hence, consistent updates to your community or your clients will serve the purpose of retaining them and let them grow the community for you by referring to others.

We do not need to achieve great result in order to maintain consistency. Consistently win small will allow us to win big later. Achieve smaller and believable goal usually lead to great achievement over time. To achieve outstanding results, is not doing the right thing alone, but to do the right thing consistently. I would like to share the quote from Dr. Ivan Misner, “Doing 6 things, 1000 times, but not doing 1000 things, 6 times”. I believe Consistency is necessary for us to see the great result later. Start growing your community (target market) by consistently working on them and you will experience tremendous outcome later.
